Summary of Job Function :
-Responsible for creating / implementation / improving standards within the Lean Manufacturing environment, leading and managing initiatives in plant and across the value stream chain, improving all manufacturing related processes as well as training and educating management team, and team members in the plant.
-Driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives across all departments to create sustainable value and resulting bottom line impact as better, faster and more cost competitiveness.
-The Methode Production System – Function as an internal expert in first defining, then rolling out, the implementation of a Lean Enterprise system for Grakon-CN, ensuring that critical success factors are incorporated within the transformation model. Develop strategy and execute plans.
-Support Grakon-CNcreates the annual lean plan, identifying key improvement priorities to enhance site performance improvement.
Measurement / Metrics – Develop the appropriate driving metrics for Lean, assess baseline performance, develop appropriate targets and measure the progress.
-Teaching / Mentoring – Hands-on leadership and teaching of Lean principles and tools.
-Drive Continuous Improvement- Facilitation and implementation of the Lean through Rapid Improvement Workshops by value stream and facilitate the use of various structured problem solving techniques, team effectiveness techniques and drive the workshop participants to implement lean tools using team ideas and solutions that will achieve real and sustainable improvements in Grakon-CN manufacturing capacity, quality and cost and meanwhile support and lead Shanghai Plant expansion project
-Internalization & Best Practices – Play an active role within a network SharePoint of Lean/Performance improvement sharing within plant and Methode Global. Document and share the best practices.
-Other lean tasks assigned from line manager.
